This season after struggling early on, Wiggins has returned to his form as a solid 3D player reminiscent of his championship-winning year in 2022; according to my WARP metric (Wins Above Replacement Player), he matches Butler's value at around 3 due to both players' limited appearances thus far into this season with Butler only having played just 25 games so far..Wiggins’s contract remains reasonable—$26 million for this season and totaling $58 million over two years—which is slightly above what Butler will earn during one single campaign in ’25/’26 but extends beyond then too! Reports suggest Miami aims create salary cap space come ‘26 focused mainly around Bam Adebayo & Tyler Herro duo… I suspect if successful moving forward disposing off expiring deals like Wiggin shouldn’t prove difficult!
